standard build

  • DNP EEPROM : RE1,UE1, RE2
  • DNP ISP select : SS1
  • The blue LEDs are too bright - MAKE RM2, RM3 - 470 ohm

known issues

  • EEPROM lacks pull up on EECS
  • Need 10K resistor pack for RE2 (has 1k)
  • the ISP select should switch the power supply also. eg the ISP is connected to PORT1 power and gnd, but if there is nothing connected - the realice thinks that nothing is connected.
  • will need a way to latch the present ISP selection as when the SERIAL port is close, the value can't be changed.
  • also want an LED to indicate which port is selected.

ECO to fix for EEPROM

  • cut trace to RE2, pin3
  • run wire from RE2.3 to UE1.1

serial numbers

  • 1 - assembled 10-15-09; tested both isolated serial port; ISP not programed.
    • 12-9-09 : connecting to port0 causes the SC VBAT supply to blow 200mA fuse.
    • has 1 ISP connector and uses ISP switch
    • after addition of EEPROM - doesn't enumerate
    • need to re-assembly to use 2 ISP connectors.
  • 2 - assembled 10-16-09;
    • has 2 ISP connectors.
    • after addition of EEPROM - doesn't enumerate

assembly mods

  • RE2 will be 10k not 1k
  • 4.7uF replaced w/10uF (due to non-availability)
