Gain and filters sections:
Front End
- subject protection is via 100K resistors on the 3 signals
- 3.3KHz differential filter, 16KHz common mode filter
- instrumentation amp with gain of 25, referenced to common
1st output stage (01)
- 16 Hz high pass
- 300 Hz, 2nd order active LP with gain of 10.5
- stage output through 2K resistor and 800 Hz LP. 0.1uF bypass across output. Total gain 262x
2nd output stage (02)
- output of 2nd order LP goes to 16 Hz high pass
- followed by gain of 11 amplifier
- stage output through 2K resistor and 800 Hz LP. 0.1uF bypass across output. Total gain ~2900x - resulting in +-9V EMG signals.
